Zambia on the road to Sydney 2015



The Zambia National Women’s Netball Team qualified to participate in the 2015 Netball World Cup to be held in Sydney, Australia on 7th – 16th August.




Today, NOWSPAR presented a set of jerseys, training apparel, t-shirts and sports bags to the team in support of their training program as they prepare for the Sydney2015.

Speaking at the media event held at the National Sports Council of Zambia, NOWSPAR Executive Director Matilda Mwaba praised the team and called on sport stakeholders including media, government as well as the corporate sector to support the Team.

The Goal Program in Zambia was re-launched on Saturday 20th September 2014 at an event held at the National Sports Development Centre in Lusaka. Women Football Coaches Speak Out


Our General Secretary Lombe Mwambwa was speaking at the Women Football Coaches Trainning Course held by the Football Association of Zambia with 26 Coaches drawn from schools and sports clubs across the country.

Matilda Mwaba to Represent Africa on World Body for Women and Sport 2015 - 2018

The International Working Group on Women and Sport (IWG) a global high level body that advocates for women’s rights to sport yesterday announced the regional representatives for its Steering Committee for 2015 - 2018 and Zambia’s Matilda Mwaba has been selected as Africa Representative.
